Liz showing off the 1958 Porsche Cabriolet in Meissen Blue with Red Interior.

We were showing two of our Porsches at the show this time. The 1958 1600 Cabriolet and our new 1973 911 Carrera RS Lightweight.

The Carrera RS Lightweight was one of 200 homologation special 911's Porsche built for racing. Its weight was reduced to almost 2100 pounds and power increased to 210 horsepower which increased performance substantially over the standard 911.
Ask Reid about it sometime, he has all of the detail on this mint, all original car.

This for sure was one of the most unique classic Porsches at the show. Porsche had a good showing with easily the most cars by one manufacturer.
There was even a Porsche tracktor being shown by someone at the event.I have not seen one of these before, but they are real. Porsche actually made farm equiptment. Plowing fields at 60 seconds in the quarter acre.
There were even a few odd ball crazy cars. Like this James Bond Jaguar. If you missed the show, be sure that you come next year. I was a lot of fun, good food, great cars and cool people. Even though it was about 98 outside that day.
See you next year!
Any kid would love a car with a Gatling gun on it and rockets coming out of the grill. A good thing to have if traffic is bad.
